The Snake Gown is made of upcycled white satin with a bold double snake motif with fully hand-sewn, hand-cut scrap snake scales and embroidered and beaded body and head. Voluminous airy tulle ruffle sleeves add a sense of romance. Low scoop back. Side seam pockets. Floor length.
This design is custom order only and can be made in any size and color with or without the Create Destroy embroidered text.

My 'CreateDestroy' collection, the first sustainable collection, was an approach to equalizing the creative and destructive forces of fashion design and production through an experimental radical approach to zero waste. Using fabrics already on hand, each scrap and thread cut during the process was reintegrated into new designs until every element was used completely resulting in a fully zero waste collection of 20+pieces.
